Wood Carvings by Mark Sheridan

Ontario Carving Shows

I attended two Ontario carving shows this past few days, one in Kitchener and the other in Whitby.  Although I didn’t enter anything in either show, I brought along a number of my carvings to display at the table representing the Ontario Wood Carving Association and had a chance to meet and talk to a lot of carvers.

Here are a few photos from both events.  Just click on the photos to make them bigger.

I hope you had a good time, the carvings are amazing and the birds in particular…they are so lifelike, if I didn’t know they were carvings I’d say they were real.

  2. Yes, Lynne, the birds were spectacular. The Kitchener Ont. club is known for their talents in that field. A number of their members attend the “world” competitions on the U.S. East Coast annually and do quite well there. Mark
