Hi Mark thanks for sharing your progress on this carving and looking forward to seeing the finished product at the OWCA show in October. Was interested in the Lee Valley router base, it looks like it did a good job of outlining the carving with precision. I wonder how a dremel with the Lee Valley base would compare with with one of the small trim / laminate routers, there would not be much difference in cost.
