Hobby Day
Paul and I decided we’d have a hobby day today. So, after I cleared the snow ( 5″ overnight ), we sat down to some tv watching, colouring and carving. Paul’s a very good artist and enjoyed colouring his Minion’s colouring book.
Not to be outdone, I started into carving a chair from two basswood blanks that I cut out on the bandsaw.
I’m just going to keep carving up these little items and piling them onto Mervin’s load. Poor Mervin. Looks like the strain is starting to show on him.

You amaze me every time you post a new picture of your carving. Great imagination and work! And I think Paul is pretty talented as well. Nicely colored pages there Paul! Keep up the good work. 😉

A perfect kind of day when it’s snowing and both you and Paul have done justice to your hobbies,Pauls colouring in is excellent,he looks as if he has been very busy with it for a while 🙂 and I love the chair you have added to Mervins load,obviously he is going to be much stronger than he looks.
